Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful time! We're sad that we couldn't see any of you, but we had a really fun time in Kalamazoo with the Doot family. Here are some highlights:

Anna's birthday is today! Happy birthday Anna! Now my parents have no more teenagers. We had an early B-day party for her before we left.

Henry Ranes!

Little Henry Ranes came this morning around 2 am (I think becasue Janae called me at 4 AM). He had the cord wraped around his little neck three times, and there was also a knot in it which is why they think he was so small (7 lbs 12 oz). Janae says he is beautiful, and looks nothing like Raymond. And both baby and Mom are doing fine. I am heading down to provo tomarrow to take some pictures. So I will keep you posted.

It looks like the girls are finally making an appearence! Congratulations Ellen and Dan! We are all so excited to see what she looks like. We need to have a baby shower when you come to town!

My Brothers Pig

This is Gertrude. The Closest thing my mother will be getting to grandkids. She is a 7 lb pot belly pig. Random, I know, but my brother Luke has never been "normal." So now instead of spoiling small children, we will spoil the pig.

Hey Friends!

So apparently I'm WAY out of touch in the blogging world. I just can't seem to get into it the way the rest of you can! Sorry that I am a failure and also fail to exist... But just remember that I really DO exist!

We find out 1 week from tomorrow which flavor of baby we are going to have! We are so excited! Jessica - Sorry for the lack of passing this information on, I had intended on sending out a mass email, but neglected to do so and was going to do it when we find out the sex... So look forward to THAT email in just one week!

I had the WORST day yesterday! I went to go into work for a few hours since I have a crazy amount of stuff to do and my security card didn't work so I couldn't get into my office! I was SO mad! But luckily it allowed me to come home and get some cleaning done. Seriously crappy though.

AND THIS would be why I DON'T blog. My life is entirely TOO boring to do so.

I hope you all enjoyed this insanely boring blog. Now you'll wish that I hadn't ever posted anything! ;-)

Yesterday Dave and I participated in the Walk for Autism at the National Mall with some of our friends. Our friend Erica England is a teacher at a school for kids with learning disabilities and has some Autistic students. Here is a picture of all of us.

Conference Weekend

Rob's Sister came to visit this weekend. She Eloped on Tuesday and they came here for their honey moon.

Shenandoah

Dave and I went to Shenandoah last weekend. It was so pretty! Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year here. It doesn't feel like we've quite hit fall yet because its still 90 degrees, but we're supposed to get to 70 degrees this week. Here are a few pictures from our trip:

Back in School

Well, our month-long trip had to end sometime. Both Dave and I started school again on Monday. He also started work! We had so much fun in Kalamazoo, Salt Lake, and Phoenix. I'll show you a few pictures. (I'm mad I didn't get any pictures at our party!)

Here we all are at Timmy's reception. It was a very nice day, although incredibly hot (it brought back awesome memories of another very hot Arizona wedding). We had a lot of fun and Timmy is really happy. I'm glad that we could be there.

Birthday boy!

John celebrated his 1st birthday a few weeks ago! We let him have a huge piece of his chocolate cake expecting he would go crazy over it, but he surprisingly only had a few bites then got bored and crawled away. Maybe that's a good thing.

Race

So I ran a race in Annapolis yesterday. It was pretty fun! These are my running friends - we go running almost every day together. I am on the left, Amelia is in the middle and Jewel is on the right. We had a lot of fun. Its been a while since I've run a 5K and I forgot how much fun they are!!

Wedding Shower

So, this past weekend we were in Kalamazoo (or as the locals say K-Zoo), Michigan visiting my family and celebrating Timmy's engagement! I don't know if all of you knew little Timmy is engaged. If you ever hung out with me junior year at BYU, then maybe you met my roommate Janine. Well, she is my future sister-in-law. Pretty crazy. Here are some pictures of them.

Jessica, we can still hang out next year. That's so cool- I wish I could go to a school and be by both of my families. Lots of babysitters! We need to have a cookout or something with the boys this summer.

Woman at Work

My dad and I spent the day at the ZCMI Facade down town on an 80ft lifting crane. We were giving them a bid as to how much it will cost them for us to take it down. Its amazing what people will spend. Any way. I just thought I would show you my super hot contruction outfit with my Pink Hat. I told my dad that Ellen had a pink one and the next day I had one on my desk. I guess he wishes I was more like her.

U of U here we come!

So we finally know where we'll be this fall... the U of U! Pete ended up not getting into UC San Diego, so our decision was made easy. I'll be honest, I'm just excited to leave Provo. Sorry Janae, you'll be all alone... the first to come and the last to leave. Anyway, we're now looking for an apartment up in Salt Lake and we'll be moving as soon as we find a place we like. Pete's mom has offered all the free babysitting we want, so we're pretty excited about that. Hope everyone's having a fun summer!

Yeah!!!

So guess what everyone???? I have officially finished my first year of teaching!! Yeah! It feels so great to be done. I am very excited for my summer. We just moved in to our new apartment on Saturday, and we are getting settled. I'm excited to start making it look cute. Well, I'll be having an end of school year party tonight if anyone wants to come...

The Cowart Update

Life is good with me. We go to work alot and Rob goes to school. He will be taking the PCAT this fall. Cross your fingers. We are moving at the end of the month to my parent house for the summer. They turned the laundry room into a kitchen so we are all over that!

We all just got back from the Happiest Place on Earth and everyone had an awesome time. My brother Luke is living in Chicago and installing Alarms with his girlfriend. James is still in VA on his mission and he LOVES it. Eli is going to be a Junior...which makes me feel old.

I am in charge of fundraising for my parents non profit organization call YOUTH MAKING A DIFFERENCE. (A few of you came and helped us sort clothes two years ago). My parents are taking 20 more teens to India and they are trying to raise $100,000. I like to pretend that all the money that comes in is mine...

We should be around most of the summer. I will be in Maine the first week in August but other then that I am just waiting for you all to come into town. We should have a BBQ at my parents and I will put up the big movie screen. I want to see all your kids! This infertillity crap bites!

Spider-Ray

This is a current picture of Raymond heading outside to swim. I can't even tell you how HUGE my son is for a 20 month old. It kills me. Especially because I stopped picking him up for a couple months and he gained 10 pounds. I think I might get the "Worst Mother Ever" award because of this pregnancy.

Hey Everyone! This is us at our new home, the Grand Canyon. If you look closely, you can see my pudginess that is baby 2.

Well, we still live in P-town but we came to hang out in Arizona two and a half weeks ago. Andrew had intentions to take the MCAT on Friday but postponed it for another yucky two months. We really don't know what we are doing this summer, except that I associate Utah with being really really sick and don't want to go back, ever. But we will because Andrew has a year left BYU. And I have a date with a baby in November.

Oh, and Ryan is getting married on July 7th, sorry ladies.

Here is our new apartment

So, we are moving this weekend down the street to a new apartment. We are really excited about it. We will have a lot more room than in our little studio.

We had some fun about three weeks ago when I got to meet my nephew Theodore Warren Doot for the first time. Jared, Joan, and Theo came and stayed with us for a few days (in our studio, can you believe it?) We had a lot of fun showing them around DC and hanging out. Here is a picture of me and Theo.
